Feast of Jacob Gapp

On Monday, 13 August 2012, the Marianist communities at Deepahalli celebrated the martyrdom of Fr. Jacob Gapp.  The celebrant and homilist was Fr. Varghese.  The celebration began with a procession from the Jacob Nilaya to Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel for the celebration of the Eucharist.  Deacon Birendra concelebrated.

Cricket in India

August 13th was sunny and beautiful, a day made for cricket.  The scholastics played the aspirants.  The final score was aspirants - 90 and scholastics - 99.  The day became more beautiful.  Food followed.

DEC bids farewell to Fr. David

On Thursday, 2 August 2012, the staff, faculty, and students of Deepahalli Marianist Education Centre bid farewell to Fr. David and thanked him for his many years of service and support for the Program at DMEC.

Mary's Apostolic Mission

The three foundation stones of Mary's Apostolic Mission are:
1. Mary is the Mediatrix of All Grace;
2. Mary is the Immaculate Conception;
3. The Spirituality Maternity is Mary's role in our sanctification.

Marianist Aspirancy Program Dedicates Language Facility

On Saturday evening, 28 July 2012, the Marianist Aspirancy Program at Deepahalli dedicated its Language Facility.  Members of the of the local communities and the MLC attended the dedication.  Fr. David Fleming gave the blessing.
