The Chariot of Modduramma, the local Hindu village goddess, passed Deepahalli on Saturday, 26 March 2011. Modduramma is one of twelve sister goddesses, one for each of the twelve villages surrounding Deepahalli, the Marianist Scholasticate in Bangalore, India. On 25 March 2011, the twelve sisters returned to their mother's home for a sisterly reunion.
