Marianist Aspirants Make Promises

On Sunday, 14 October 2012, at the celebration of the Marianist World Day of Prayer, fourteen Indians made their Promises of the Aspirancy.

Marianist World Day of Prayers - 2012

The Marianist communities in Bangalore, India celebrated the Marianist World Day of Prayer at Deepahalli.  The celebrations began with the Eucharist.  During the Eucharist, the Aspirants made their Promises of the Aspirancy (See Blog for photo and names).  Afterwards, Fr. Jack McGrath gave a presentation on "Vatican II and the World Day of Prayer."  The celebrations concluded with Benediction.

  

Foundation Day 2012 - Evening Prayer

As part of the celebration of Foundation Day, the scholasticate held an Evening Prayer Liturgy for the Marianist communities in Bangalore, the Deepahalli communities, the MLC, the parish clergy, and the neighboring communities of religious men and women.  The Liturgy was followed by dinner.
